The following Professional Cleaning Seminars are offered in cooperation with Cleaning Consultant Services, Inc. and local distributors, manufacturers and associations. Wm R. Griffin, President of Cleaning Consultant Services, Inc. will instruct the courses. Mr. Griffin may involve other industry professionals as guest speakers. All courses include an instructor provided training manual and where applicable IICRC certification exam fees. Basic Skills Seminar - Floor/Carpet Care
During this two-part four (4) hour Basic Skills Course in Hard Floor Care/Carpet Care, students will "learn by doing" the latest technical information related to the proper procedures, chemicals and equipment needed to clean, maintain and restore all common types of Hard Surface Flooring found in commercial and residential facilities.students will “learn by doing” the latest technical information related to the proper procedures, chemicals and equipment needed to clean, maintain and restore all common types of carpeting found in commercial and residential facilities Students will learn about health, safety and environmental issues along with how to clean, polish, spray buff, burnish, scrub, strip and apply finish (where applicable) to resilient and ceramic tile, wood, and stone floors. Students will learn about carpet fibers, styles, construction methods and how these factors affects the effectiveness of various cleaning and spotting methods. Hands on practice using wet and low moisture cleaning methods, spotting techniques and chemicals play an integral part of this course. This training is offered in multiple formats with a variety of scheduling options based on the needs of each facility. Offered as an online instructor led virtual webinar or an in person, face-to-face seminar.

As a CMI authorized Master Trainer I also offer the CMIs Basic and Advanced Expert Custodial Technician Courses using the CMI Basic and Advance Training Manuals. Floor Care Technician Certification Seminar - FCT IICRC
This Seminar will provide technical information and demonstrations on the proper procedures, chemicals and equipment needed to identify, clean, maintain and restore all common types of floor covering materials. This includes floor coverings used in commercial, health care, food service, industrial and residential properties. Also proper procedures for specialty applications for use in areas - computer rooms, clean rooms and laboratories. Surfaces covered will include: wood, laminate, stone, ceramic, terrazzo, marble, concrete, epoxy, VCT & VAT tile and sheet goods. The seminar will prepare attendees to take the IICRC certification exam, at the end of the second day.

IICRC Instructor: David Kiser
David Kiser was the first Chair of the IICRC HCT Committee. He approached the IICRC to facilitate the development of a science-based peer reviewed course for the Residential Cleaning Industry. David brings a strong business perspective to the course; helping technicians and owners to understand how to use the HCT Certification to build value in their performance and the business they represent.

The IICRC HCT class will be Live Streaming on the dates below! Virtual classes will be held from 10 am 6 pm EST. Class size is limited to 15 participants.
