The following Professional Cleaning Seminars are offered in cooperation with Cleaning Consultant Services, Inc. and local distributors, manufacturers and associations. Wm R. All courses include an instructor provided training manual and where applicable IICRC certification exam fees. Floor Care Technician Certification Seminar - FCT IICRC
This Seminar will provide technical information and demonstrations on the proper procedures, chemicals and equipment needed to identify, clean, maintain and restore all common types of floor covering materials. This includes floor coverings used in commercial, health care, food service, industrial and residential properties. Also proper procedures for specialty applications for use in areas - computer rooms, clean rooms and laboratories. Surfaces covered will include: wood, laminate, stone, ceramic, terrazzo, marble, concrete, epoxy, VCT & VAT tile and sheet goods. The seminar will prepare attendees to take the IICRC certification exam, at the end of the second day.

OSHA 10 Hour Health and Safety Course
The OSHA 10 & 30 hour courses cover General Industry occupational health and safety information (OSHA 29 CFR 1910) as it relates to cleaning, maintenance, grounds and restoration industry workers. The course promotes the importance of hazard and risk assessment, The Global Harmonized System (GHS), administrative controls, work practices, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the implementation of controls to prevent accidents, injuries and toxic exposures that can impact worker health, wellness and performance.

The OSHA Hierarchy of Hazard Control is emphasized as a way to reduce reliance on the use of PPE and instead focus safety efforts on the reduction and or elimination of hazards through more effective means. To successfully complete the course each attendee must demonstrate that they possess the skill, knowledge and awareness to recognize potential hazards and are committed to taking action to prevent accidents and exposures on the job that will save lives and reduce costs by preventing injuries.

Professional Cleaning Technician Certification Training Programs
This course utilizes the "Comprehensive Custodial Training Manual" (CCTM) as the course curriculum. Each student is provided with a copy of this four-chapter manual or one chapter, depending on the length or subject matter focus of the instruction. There are four major chapters to the full course, the sections are offered as a standalone training program for each chapter or as a combined program over a 32-hour course of instruction.

Basic Skills Seminar - Floor/Carpet Care
During this two-part four (4) hour Basic Skills Course in Hard Floor Care/Carpet Care, students will "learn by doing" the latest technical information related to the proper procedures, chemicals and equipment needed to clean, maintain and restore all common types of Hard Surface Flooring found in commercial and residential facilities.students will “learn by doing” the latest technical information related to the proper procedures, chemicals and equipment needed to clean, maintain and restore all common types of carpeting found in commercial and residential facilities Students will learn about health, safety and environmental issues along with how to clean, polish, spray buff, burnish, scrub, strip and apply finish (where applicable) to resilient and ceramic tile, wood, and stone floors. Students will learn about carpet fibers, styles, construction methods and how these factors affects the effectiveness of various cleaning and spotting methods. Hands on practice using wet and low moisture cleaning methods, spotting techniques and chemicals play an integral part of this course. A proficiency exam will be administered at the end of the course with a “Certificate of Completion” provided by the CMI, and IICRC to those completing the course and exam. This course qualifies for (.5) Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), Continuing Education Credits (CEC’s).
